Michael already had a 10 year proven track record as a successful retail manager, and saw an opening in the UK car audio retail market. At the time most other mail order retailers in the market seemed only interested in pushing products without any form of backup. Michael saw that by providing a unique blend of marketing, advertising, IT infrastructure, and customer service and, of course, the right products at the right prices, he could create a niche.
